Boy it’s been a while

School has only a few days left so I’ve been busy with last min work and studding for finals. Let’s see if I can remember what’s happened since last post XD Well I got my braces off finally after 4 years and now have a stupid retainer that doesn’t seem to fit fully… I’ve opened my pool back up and have been swimming in it a bit. Also just got a new AC unit that’s nice and cool – even comes with a remote :) Been trying to finish putting stories up online for the school paper but been having issues with pics, everything from network to time out errors. Fun. WZMR launches in one week and I’ve got my server ready to go. I’ve also got approval of the ZREO Podcast to now be official, have made 10 episodes, and finally fixed the iTunes feed (for now…) And I’ve also became a global mod on Zentendo.

That’s all I can remember. Get out of school finally on the 18th so maybe I’ll post more in the summer.

Woohoo! ZREO is now on iTunes!

The Unofficial ZREO Podcast is now on iTunes. Click here to subscribe.

The website is here and the thread on the ZREO forums is here.

Yes, I’m super excited seeing as the podcast project is mine. I invite you to listen and would love to hear any feedback you have (especially since comments are now open again!)

Happy listening!

ZREO’s second part of Open Symphony

Well the long waited for second “movement” of Open Symphony from Zelda Reorchestrated was realised last night at 10 PM EST and it’s absolutely beautiful. I’ll admit it brought me to tears the first time I heard it and that’s something that hasn’t happened for three year. I forgot how good it felt. The second movement is called Memories of Kakariko and is available for download from the ZREO page in two bitrates, 160 or 320. In addition, Open Symphony means it’s open for others to make their own arrangements as the sheet music is also available for download.
If you’re a Zelda Fan, you want want to miss this. If you aren’t a Zelda fan, I still really highly recommend taking a listen and downloading it if you like the tracks. Movement III should be realized the end of March.

Are you a Zelda fan?

If so, you really should check out this get group called Zelda Re-orchestrated.
Their goal is to re-orchestrate every track of music from every Zelda game. They use very high quality synthesizing software and the music they make sounds incredible! Every Friday, a new song or two or more is launched and if no song is launched (on rare occasions) the wait is more than worth it.
And if perhaps, you aren’t a big fan of the music or music in general, you can always join the live chat.

So check it out, even if you aren’t a Zelda fan it’s a great community that is rapidly expanding and great to be a part of.
