I guess I’m officially a college student tomorrow

I just realized I have college orientation tomorrow (and part of Friday). Awesome. Been looking forward to it. Then again, I have absolutely no idea what college will be like. It’s also gonna be expensive as all hell. I guess going to orientation means it’s finally official. I’m a college student.

I’ll probably blog it when I get back and might tweet it as it goes along. Depends on if I have the time and can get my iPod on Drexel’s wifi network. Having researched the system, I should be able to do so. We’ll see though. You never know what can happen with a network. Believe me, I’d know. Majoring in Information Technology

I wish there was a better way to sync.

Right now I sync my Twitter and Facebook. I’d love to sync Twitter, Facebook, and WordPress.

Using TweetDeck, I can post to WordPress, which will then send the update to Twitter and Facebook. However, by doing so, I loose the location data for the tweet. If I make a post on WordPress, nothing gets geotagged, but the post is sent to Twitter and FB. If I send a tweet directly to Twitter, it gets geotagged and passed on to Facebook, but not to WP.

Ideally, I’d love to be able to post to WordPress on TweetDeck, and have it sent to Twitter and Facebook, all while being geotagged. So, WordPress and Tweetdeck, how about becoming partners or something

Yeah. I guess I have. It’s been a long time. Have have you been? (cookie if you get the reference there). I’ve kinda gone from novel writing… *ahem* blogging… to 140 characters or less micro-blogging. Also known as Twitter, for those of you who live under a rock. That said, I’ll be updating Twitter a lot more than this. But, for what thoughts won’t fit in 140 characters, I’ll throw them up on here. And then of course link to them on Twitter I’ll also be having my Twitter post to here, permitting I remember to push the button on TweetDeck.

So, that’s it for now. Welcome back. Pay no attention to the fact I “dusted” by burning the old place to the ground. In fact, now you know too much…
