Phew! I’ve been busy. Really busy. And it’s not over yet. I got all of issue 7 of the Falconaire to put up on the website tomorrow and a three page controversial issue research paper to write. I just got home from a sleep-over at my friend’s house so I had one break this week. Tomorrow’s looking like Mother’s Day, essay, maybe lawn, and articles. No time to do a podcast and might have to get up earlier than I’ll want to in order to get it all done. God I hate being the only one working on that site…..

I’m out of stuff to say. Nothing really interesting. Man I’m tired….

Well at least the week went by fast. I finally got some Linux stuff working I wanted to get done. The Falconaire is pretty much all back up I think; just need to put back pages and comments. God I’m tired. Got some new tunes this week, the song fro the iTunes ad (uber catchy) and the complete Kingdom Hearts OST (great soundtrack). Not much to say as much hasn’t really happened. I should be making a new ZREO Podcast 2mor.

That’s it.

Well I got a letter from the head of the IT department today in homeroom. I didn’t get the summer internship. Not only is that a bummer but kinda a surprise. I personally thought I had one hell of a resume and I even had the backing of the English Department. How the hell do you beat that? I’m betting it was some bullshit reason since he got final call on who got the internship. I wonder who did get it…..

Well time to figure out new plans for summer…

On Friday I participated in Career Day at school. Well it wasn’t really at the school but rather Fort Monmouth. I shadowed the area of management. It was pretty cool. I met the IT staff and got to see a demo of some software. Pretty neat stuff. I forgot what it’s called though, even the acronym. That another thing I learned, everything in the army has a acronym. I also got to see the NOC (I think that’s what is was called). Pretty sweet stuff, even with unclassified screens Naturally I had asked a few questions about how an IT job in the army is like. Pretty long hours and 24/7 phone calls. At 11:30 it was time for lunch, which was a buffet of salad, chicken, pasta, ravioli and something else that was the best but I have no clue what it was… A few people spoke as well while lunch was going on. After lunch, it was the end of the day and while waiting for the bus to arrive I picked up some loot from the Earth Day program that was going on. Scored two bags and a bunch of sample stuff. Soon after the bus arrived back to the school where we watched Young Frankenstine in the PAC until the end of the school day.

It was pretty fun and I’d defiantly do it again. Those who dropped out missed a hell of a day.

After weeks of hard work, I am happy to say the Falconaire is back online. We’re still working on restoring older stories, comments, and pages but we are estimating it’ll be 100% back in 2 weeks.

As you might’ve noticed, I’ve been playing around with the blog colors again. Still can’t find a good matching link color….

Also on the right sidebar, you can now search by category. Note: there is a difference between category and tag. Category is something like “site info” and a tag is something like “test.”

Almost a year ago I bought the Logitech ClearChat Headset from Amazon for $30. I find “ClearChat” to be rather funny because the mic on it is ultimate crap. It works when it wants to and other times it picks up ridicules feedback or something. I tried recording a podcast earlier today and the mic was all garbled. Good thing I plaid back what I had. Sound is still beautiful but the mic is extremely disappointing. I used to think Logitech had the best products around. Guess I was off by a few miles. Now I got to try and get this stupid thing working again…

I have off this Friday from school because the teacher’s have some thing going on (probably workshops and boring stuff like that.) But hey, it’s a day off so I ain’t complaining. I’ll either be working on a podcast, working on getting the Falconaire put back together now that it’s set up, or hang out with my friend.

I’m also getting interviewed for the IT Internship next Monday. I hope I get the position…
